Since our last review, we think the hotel has not improved and efforts on some areas should be made. We understand the hotel aims at staying a good-value family option and that improvement is on its way. We keep our eyes open for future reviews.

The hotel has gardens and solarium terraces. There is a café-bar by the pool. The restaurant serves a buffet and organizes themed dinners regularly. It has an outdoor pool and gym. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

Located in Puerto Rico, in the south of the island of Gran Canaria. The hotel is just 1.2 km from Tauro Beach.
The top highlight for this hotel was always and continues to be, the amazing views. On our most recent review, we are glad to confirm that the quality of food and service continues very high. Some rooms need to be refurbished. This is logical and happens to most large hotels that refurbish on slots, but we prefer to point it out.
The hotel features a bar, a terrace, a fitness center, an outdoor pool a restaurant, and 24-hour reception, an evening entertainment program, and an outdoor pool. The hotel also has a children’s playground.

Seaside Sandy Beach - 4-Stars
The seaside sandy beach has been for a long time one of our top options in Playa del Inglés. It offers a great balance: excellent facilities, very good services and entertainment program, walking distance to the beach, walking distance to shopping.
This Arabian-style hotel, located in the south of the island, is surrounded by subtropical gardens and is just 500 meters from the famous Playa del Inglés.
The hotel features tennis courts, an outdoor gym with wonderful views of the sea, an outdoor pool, a hammam, a sauna, and massage service. You can also rent your own private hot tub on the private terrace.
Seaside Sandy Beach offers spacious rooms with air conditioning, satellite TV, and a furnished balcony. Hairdryers and bathrobes are provided upon request.

No doubt the Kumara Serenoahotel in Maspalomas is a very stylish hotel. Its mid-size (a bit less than 150 rooms) and the architecture, contribute to a great feeling of well-being. We love this!
Kumara Serenoa By Lopesan Hotels is located in Maspalomas, near the excellent Maspalomas Golf club and the beach. It is also just 3.6 km from the famous Aqualand Water Park, an add-on if traveling with children. The property has a 24-hour reception, a lush garden and an outdoor pool.
The rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, and a microwave. Some rooms have a terrace and others have garden views.
The Kumara Serenoa By Lopesan Hotels also has a buffet restaurant and a children’s playground.
The Palmitos Park Zoo is 10 km away, Maspalomas Lighthouse is also nearby, just 2.4 km away and the nearest airport of Gran Canaria is 28 km away.
Suites & Villas by Dunas - 4-Stars
We have always loved the horizontal architecture of this hotel, though its top highlight in our view is the superb 75,00 sq meter tropical garden.
This hotel is actually a series of bungalows surrounded by lush gardens and located right next to the golf course and Dunes of Maspalomas. It features 3 outdoor swimming pools surrounded by sun terraces. There is also a water park and a kids’ club for the younger guests. A free shuttle service to Maspalomas Beach is provided with 4 daily departures.
The accommodations at Suites & Villas by Dunas are elegantly decorated and include a lounge area with satellite TV and a garden terrace and some rooms also direct access to the water park.
The hotel also has a buffet-style restaurant, a poolside bar, and a lobby bar.
Labranda Playa Bonita - 4-Stars
Our last review of this hotel includes some areas for improvement. Though the overall review from our team keeps being positive and the hotel deserves to stay in this guide, we however would expect improvements in the food selection.
Located just 300 meters from Playa del Inglés Beach the hotel is surrounded by gardens and features a large outdoor pool, a restaurant with a terrace, a pool bar a chill-out bar, a children’s park, and pool, as well as an entertainment program for children and adults.
All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private balcony or terrace, a flat-screen TV and a sofa bed, in case you have extra guests.
You can also reach the famous Maspalomas Dunes in just 15 minutes on foot.
Labranda Marieta - 4-Stars
The Labranda Marieta is for sure a good and affordable adults-only option near the beach. Since we last reviewed this hotel it has been renovated, which is a very positive surprise. A bit more attention should however be put to food though overall value for money is really good.
Our favorite item at the hotel is the panoramic pool.
Located right next to the Labranda Playa Bonita and just 200 meters from the beach, this adults-only hotel offers a heated outdoor pool, a rooftop chill-out terrace with panoramic views, a poolside bar, and a buffet restaurant, as well a full gym.
The spacious and brightly lit rooms include a flat-screen satellite TV, a desk, and a private bathroom.
Hotel Gran Canaria Princess - Adults Only - 4-Stars
As in our previous reviews, this hotel delivers what it promises and we can only confirm what we have already mentioned in the past. An excellent choice for a customer who seeks relaxation, and good services at a beautiful premise, yet at an affordable price.
Hotel Gran Canaria Princess is located in Gran Canaria, 750 meters from the well-known Playa del Inglés Beach, and features heated swimming pools, a gym, a restaurant, a bar, and free WiFi.
The property also has several chill-out terraces, a poolside bar, and a wellness area with a sauna, hot tub, and Balinese beds, you can joy. On top of that, the hotel’s restaurant serves themed dinners and offers show cooking, and organizes a complete program of daytime and evening entertainment with shows and live music.

We have always faced problems when reviewing this hotel. We find its location is excellent for people who enjoy staying close to the beach. The pools and rooms are also a high standard. The hotel receives however very mixed reviews in general by customers and we feel it has to do with some special, aggressive packages sold by tour operators to large groups. When addressing those groups the hotel may lower their overall otherwise good standard of quality.

Last time we reviewed this hotel renovation was on its way and was somewhat disturbing. Once finished we can only say good things about this all-inclusive resort in Gran Canaria. This is not the cheapest option in the area and it is not located in a bustling tourist district. Otherwise, the hotel provides an overall excellent holiday experience.
